Stop solenoid / Electric stop Volvo Penta MD2010 MD2020 MD2030 MD2040
Please note: the electric cut-off switch is not standard on Volvo Penta engines. It's very easy to install yourself and only requires a 12V power supply to shut down the engine. If you don't have a dashboard panel with an ignition switch, you'll need to install a separate switch for the cut-off switch.
These solenoids are "Powered to stop", so only a voltage needs to be applied for a short time to switch off the engine.
